Fall in Love with 10 hottest romance reads

If you are a huge romance addict like me and a lot of other people, then this article is definitely for you. When it comes to romance and romantic books in general, there is always something for everyone, no matter what your taste is. So, whether you prefer a sweet, classical love story, or something a little steamier, we’ve got you covered.

Here is a list of ten new releases from Harlequins this year:

  • Wildlife

Wild Life by Opal Wei is a Harlequin feature romance that follows the relationship between a cancer survivor/ grad student, Zoey, and Davy, an ex-Chinese Pop artist who suffers from anxiety disorder.

After an amusingly wholesome meet-cute, they escape to an island together. He’s there to care for his animal rescues, and she is there to locate a priceless slide. While there, they each deal with the things that have been holding them back.

This book is a delightfully funny and entertaining rom-com that explores the reality of mental health throughout the story in a meaningful way while also maintaining the humor.

This book is a mixture of the forced proximity and (Opposite attracts) trope. And did I mention that our Hero is “Handsome, wealthy and whimsical?” While our heroine’s character is a cool doctor/research student, dedicated to finding the cure for a cancer that almost killed her little sister? We all love it!! a sexy strong heroine versus a wealthy, handsome, charismatic hero dynamic, right?

  • The Friendship Study

The Friendship Study by Ruby Barrett is a romance book that follows the lives of Jesse and Lulu. Our hero, Jesse does not! want a fresh start. He yearns to have his old life back before an injury ended his career as a firefighter, but then his grandfather’s sickness gets so bad he doesn’t recognize Jesse anymore. So, when a friend tells him about a paid psychological study, Jesse doesn’t hesitate to jump at the opportunity to try and get his life back to normal again.

Lulu, on the other hand, craves a fresh start. In between struggling to get over a devastating heartbreak and navigating the idea that she has always been too much, the friendship study seems like a great idea…until she’s paired with Jesse Logan, who recently ghosted her after a blind date that led to a steamy make-out session. The program has a strict “No romance” rule, so I wonder…and I know you are wondering the same thing too.

Also, not only was this book released just a day before Valentine’s Day, but (there honestly couldn’t have been a better time) it also has the OG friends-to-lovers forbidden romance trope, so this one’s kinda like a shout-out to all the friends who secretly have feelings for each other, we see you.

  • The Bookbinder’s guide to love

If you are looking for a “witchy, witty, and wickedly sexy” romance about love, friendship, and unexpected connections? Then this enthralling book by Katherine Gerbera is for you. If you ever had a journal that is suspected to have the power to manifest your desires, what would be the first thing you try to manifest?

This book focuses on the life of Serafina Contes, a lonely foster child, who sought refuge in hand-making journals and writing her wishes in them. But then her journals began to gain recognition in the witchy shop she shared with her two friends because it was believed that they could manifest things written inside them.

After the death of Serafina’s mentor, Ford, the only thing that comforts her is the box of antique books he left her. But then Wes, Ford’s suspicious grandson, wants them back! Sera refuses to give them up, but it’s clear Wes is seeking more …. an emotional connection no book can replace. So, he offers to work in her shop for six weeks if she’ll help him get closure by sharing memories of his late grandfather.

Ouuu! So, this book offers us a stubborn grumpy male MC who also might have a soft spot for family and emotional connections. Wes is also devastatingly handsome, so it’s even better!

  • The friendship clubs

This exquisite work of absolutely wholesome friendship by Robyn Carr is a story about relationships, bonds, and connections that transcend beyond romantic love. It’s a story about the love that stays even when romantic love isn’t enough.

The friendship club explores the individual lives of four women who come together at a very not-so-great time in their lives, to build an unbreakable bond that will leave them all forever changed.

Celebrity cooking show host Marni McGuire believes she has seen it all;

Having been married twice and then widowed and divorced. Now in her mid-fifties, she’s single and very happily so. She just needs to convince her pregnant daughter, Bella of this fact. And maybe convince herself too, especially after all her efforts to humor her determined daughter, resulted in a series of disastrous and embarrassing dates that somehow sealed the pact for Marni about whether there is a right man for her or anybody else even.

Marni’s best friend and colleague who’s single too, is also confident she’s content without a man in her life, but both older women soon find themselves leading by example as the young intern at their workplace appears to be caught in a toxic relationship and Marni’s daughter reveals that her marriage might not be everything she imagined it would be.

Suddenly, all four women find themselves sharing and exploring their experiences, each navigating the challenges of dating, marriage, loneliness, and love. Thankfully, they have each other to lean on and learn from. The realities of modern love are far from easy, but there’s no better group to have in your life than the ones who will lift you, no matter what, and who will never get tired of hearing you complain about the same toxic man that broke your heart fifty-five times already…..and counting.

  • Fortune’s Baby Claim

This contemporary romance novel by Michelle Major explores the theme of “a blessing in disguise” in the case of two single parents whose lives take a rather dramatic turn when they realize their babies are switched at the hospital.

It’s every parent’s worst nightmare come true when two babies are mistakenly switched at birth. So even when Esme Fortune already loves the infant she brought home from the hospital, she can’t possibly deny her flesh and blood.

And even if businessman Ryan Hayes never expected to be parenting a baby alone, he certainly has no inclinations to give up his son. So, they both decide to just raise the kids together! So, as their love for their kids grows, would they also explore the simmering attraction between them? Would their unthinkable mistake be their good fortune? This amazing novel offers great chemistry between the characters; it is guaranteed to make you fall in love, whether with the book, how it is written, the author, or with love itself.

Harlequins publishes all these books, so get reading and stay romantic.
